Flower photography is often difficult to do well. This is because you need a small aperture to get everything sharp but by doing so you also get the background sharp which can distract. One tip is to remove the background using a sheet or card. And while you are at it use coloured material and you can create grahical colour effects that complement, harmonize or contrast with the colour of the flower. The card can also double up as a wind sheild.
