A shot taken tonight at Meadowhall, Sheffield for my photo365 project. It’s taken with a NeinGrenze compact that’s specially designed for miniature photography effects. I thought I’d try it for normal photography to see how the adjusted lens works. It’s quite an interesting effect.

Letter Q didn’t take long to find. I thought about a circle with something sticking out and then went on the hunt for the right shape. I found it in the bathroom in the form of an aluminium liquid soap dispenser. It looked rubbish lit normally so I got the DIY ringlight out and dropped […]

Tonight I went to see In The Nursery at the Sheffield City Hall’s Memorial Hall. Several musicians where playing including Sheffield musician Matt Howden performing as Sieben. The stage lighting was minimal so I had to rack up the ISO to 4000 and shoot with the lens wide open, to get a decent shutter speed.
In the Nursery celebrated their 30th Anniversary with a concert as part of the Sensoria Festival at the City Hall Ballroom. The were supported by Job Karma, Neil McSweeney, David Thomas Broughton and Sieben. I went with Phil Otter and Gerald Garraty
Letter M of the alphabet section of my photo365 project is a close up of part of a keyboard.
