Exclusion Principle and Lost Garden each played a set at a new Sheffield venue last night…upstairs above Eten Cafe on York Street. Both groups joined together at the end to perform what the called a “sonic jam” I was near the front and didn’t have a wide enough lens so this shot combines two photos: Martin Archer , Hervé Perez, Andy Peake and Nick Robinson from one, and drummer Peter Fairclough on the other.

I popped over to Huddersfield tonight to watch two performances as part of the Electric Spring Festival 2015 in the Phipps Hall, University of Huddersfield
On first was Sound Sculptor Ben Potts exploring the boundaries between geometry, sound and
sculpture with his piece Cuboid.

And second up was Katie English performing as Isnaj Dui using electronically manipulated flutes and homemade instruments, looped to build up soundscapes. She performed pieces from her CD Euplexia.

Dyonisis organised a live event at West Street Live this evening with four artists taking stage.
First up was guitarist Brontë.

Then Dan Loops with his loop machine, guitar and raps.

Next up was Juxtamahpigeon

Headliners Dyonisis played a lively set of new material and a few regular numbers at the end.
