Photo365 – Day 114 – Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day

Today’s photo365 is to join in the World Pinhole Day , where thousands shoot pictures through a pinhole. This one was taken using a Nikon D700 with a pinhole plate attached to the front using a T2 mount. The same effect can be had by drilling a fine hole in a body cap.

Photo365 – Day 111 – decay

I have my next letter lined up but didn’t have time to go and shoot it today. So here’s one from the garden. It’s a bird the cats caught. It’s been eaten by ant etc and is almost at skeleton stage.
I shot with the iphone and hipstamatic as I’m loving the effects this camera creates.

Photo365 – Day 110 – Letter G

I was struggling to find some object that represented the letter G, and then I saw the scissors and shifted from capital letters to lower case.
Shot for my photo365 project using a Pentax K10D and 16-45mm lens.

Photo365 – Day 107 – carbooters

I popped over to Marsh Lane carboot sale this morning and took the iphone to record some of the visitors.

I parked myself near the exit and took candids as the punters walked past or left. I held the camera phone at waist height and pressed the shutter as people walked into view.

It’s a bit awkward with the hipstamatic app because the shutter is on the screen and not easy to press from a weird angle while you’re looking like your not taking pictures.

It was a bit hit and miss, especially the composition, but I ended up with a good selection of shots.

This is not my favourite but is one of the better ones to illustrate carboot sales. The bloke was looking back at a meat seller who was mid flow in his sales patter.

Photo365 – Day 105 – Bluebells

I’m interrupting my Alphabet series tonight to post a shot from today while testing a new Velbon tripod.
It’s taken from a low viewpoint of bluebells in a wood near Clumber Park.
I used the Pentax K10D and 100mm macro lens.
