I won Dixons Logo competition

Dixons had an internal staff competition, announced in the company newsletter, Dixonian.  The brief was for a Safe Driving Club Badge – Design a badge and Win £20.

I entered and won.

£20 may not sound a lot but at that Time I used to get £27.65 Net Pay per week so it was ok thank you 🙂

The day I was rewarded a Blue Peter Badge

As a child I was always sending off to magazines, trying to win competitions, drawing, being creative. It was a fantastic day when I received a letter from the TV program Blue Peter. I’d drawn my dog Blackie from a photo my mum had taken on a 126 camera. They liked the photo and I liked the resulting badge!
